I've been coming to The Cup ever since I was a teenager. I love everything about it; the decor, the drinks & desserts, the music, and just the overall vibe. They are open late and offer live music some nights too. They also have board games! I got the frozen raspberry hot chocolate which was delicious. They always serve their drinks in fun mugs that differ each time. This place is a Long Island staple!

I've been hanging out here sporadically for over 10 years. I have moved away from LI and always look forward to coming here when I visit home. I enjoy the coffee and dessert, but rarely order other types of food. My favorite coffee order is the Charlie One-Two. Some areas, such as the bathroom, could be updated, as others have said. Overall, I love the relaxed, charming and nostalgic vibe and I think it's a great place to catch up with friends.

Wow! This is a hidden gem for sure that I should take more advantage of. Amazing drinks, waitstaff is phenomenal and decor is extremely homey and nostalgic. They have tons of iced and hot drinks, dairy and non dairy milk as well as tons of coffee and non coffee drinks to offer. They even have a great food menu. Open until midnight, this place is a must see for those who want to try a fun, neighborhood beverage Mecca.

If you didn't know you needed a frozen hot chocolate with marshmallows, now you do. Cool coffee/dessert shop. My wife came here a lot while growing up nearby and I can definitely see why.

Good coffee nice selection, friendly people. Nice to hang out. Parking can be a challenge if there's an event going on nearby but it's always good. Coffee snacks can be uneven but atmospheres is always pleasant. Great meeting place.

This is a really lovely coffee shop right across from the train station (and a few storefronts from Mulchays). I got a coffee and their peanut butter pie and we also ordered fries for the table and had a great night. I 100000% recommend the pie! So heavenly. Our server was really wonderful and accommodating when more and more people kept joining us (we were holding a little get-together but never got a confirmation about how many people were coming). I love their quirky mugs and decor, and you can even buy the decor from local artists which is really cool. I have 2 minor things to mention of things I didn't like, one that is out of their control. The one out of their control is the parking situation. Because of the train, there's a myriad of street signs that have short hours you can park, and it isn't clear if you can park in the train spots during non-rush hours. I had to circle a few times. It is definitely a deterrent for me to return. Additionally, I do wish they had more hours. I'm almost surprised I didn't see that they don't open for a few hours in the morning. I'd imagine they would do really well with the train right there. The night I went they were open 6 pm to about 10/11 pm. And that seems to be normal for them.

A nice alternative to going to a bar. The menu has lots of teas, coffees and milkshakes to choose between. There are many vegan options to choose from. My personal recommendation is the vegan brownie and sundae. The atmosphere is very comfy with dim lighting, couches, and tables. There is a ton of board games to play as well which is fun.

Indie coffeeshops are growing increasingly rarer to find on the Island that is Long, but it's nice to see the longtime running Cup is still holding its own. Yeah, some of you might prefer your Starbucks, but the Cup has a near full menu and such delicacies like the frozen hot chocolate! Nice easygoing vibe too with a great soundtrack to meet up with some friends and feel young again. :) located right across from lirr too with plenty of parking options nearby.

FIRST OF ALL the ambiance of this place is spectacular. We felt so comfortable and "at home" type vibes. The chairs were comfy, environment felt so inviting and warm. When we got there, we were immediately greeted by the waitress. She was so fun and great at helping me chose what to get. One side of the menu had coffee and the other had desserts. I got the iced Viennese and my husband got the cup signature house blend. We both agreed it was delicious coffee! For our dessert, i got the pecan pie and my husband got the tollhouse cookie. BOTH were AHHHHHMAAAZING!!! We ate it so quick. What i also love about this place is that they have games! My husband played uno, i declare war, connect four, and guess who. We enjoyed laughing and spending quality time together playing games we enjoyed as kids! We did not feel rushed, we did not feel like we had to leave cause we finished dessert- it was definitely an amazing experience with good coffee and dessert. We will definitely be coming back. Oh! The decor is superb. It's different and unique. Loved every inch of this place!

What a cozy place! There is sitting inside and in the backyard. Welcoming and friendly staff. We stop here for dessert drinks. It just rained so the waitress wipe the chairs and table. I order the frozen hot chocolate as soon as I saw the menu. It reminds me of Serendipity's version. My friend order 3 drinks including 1 the waitress craft and 2 coffee ones. While waiting, we battle on the connect 4. There are other games if you want to play including chess which the waitress was playing with another patron. It is such a fun and chill atmosphere.
